Most recently across this mind

I have some questions:( Feel free to leave a comment if you ask these too, or have an answer)

Is it better to be independent or dependant?
Why is the world not as it should be?
Why do I not live as I know I should?
Why do you feel sticky when coming out of an air-conditioned place?
When did you have to be rich to be skinny and poor to be fat?
Are emotions to be any part of praise and worship?
How come we don’t see miracles like in biblical times anymore?
Why won’t my wireless connect when I need it urgently?
Where have all the stars gone?
Why love?
When did education become something optional?
How come free time is a luxury?
Is it right to live a comfortable life?
I happen to find sarcasm an enjoyable sense of humor, but I’m curbing it. How then do I indulge my need for wit?
Since I cannot IM anymore, will I still have friends who will remember me? Is my social existence confined to the boundaries of the WWW?
Is it right to want to live a comfortable life?
Do I stil have any social skills?
I wonder what would happen if all Christians lived abandoned to God?
How come my classes never start and end at the appointed time?
Would it better to be shallow and superficial or to live questioning everything?
How come the people I want to notice me never do and the ones I never notice always notice me?
Why humans God?

I’ve also been thinking about this particular verse, in which Paul says:
"..To all men I have become all things, in the hope that in every one of these ways I may save some."

And you thought origami was cool

Personally I think the ones in frames are real kick-ass. I need scissors!Paper!Woot!

(Other thoughts)
My taste in music is too random:
I'm listening to Chris Bottis' December album, Relient K-Mmhmm ,Sheila on 7,Ungu ,random violin pieces and La Goutte au Nez (which translates into "The Drop with the Nose" according to Altavista Babelfish)
But I have my constants...Classical, Jazz, Rock and Sax music.

Why you so like that?

I hate traffic in this city. Bencibencibenci. That and the haze. Everything looks so romantic..but it's like that song.."killing me softly.." teruklah.

Life here is kind of ironic...I realised quite soon that those that can afford to stay in nice areas (ie: with parks, golf, shopping malls, cafes..etcetc) don't have much time to use/enjoy these luxuries.
And those who do have the time, don't seem quite happy at all.
And yes...I'm quite sick of shopping. Didn't think it possible, but yes. Shopping is such a.dumb.pastime.
Unless you have one of those legendary money trees...then shopping is urm....well..boring also.

But I gripe too much.
Am settling into some form of routine, and the oral presentation on monday went okay. I have another (smaller and less formal) presentation again tommorow. Whee! :P

Socially, it's way better. Although I did have a really embarrasing lapse of memory during lecture ( I blame pre-stage jitters) which resulted in me offering my muslim friend a sweet.
Redface.redface.redface. -_-

Was on the bus in the morning a few days ago, the radio was blasting that "Balik kampung!!" song, a group of Indonesians with a lot of luggage got on the bus. The bus was heading for the city centre...methinks they going home.
I also want to balik kampung.
First time ever that I can say that!!!:D

Living the high life

Okay, so the title is a tad misleading. But yes, I have been having a very leisurely tai-tai life these past 2 days (oh gosh! its only been 2 days!?!?!)
As you can tell..I really can't wait to start studying again.

City life is vastly overrated. Don't get me wrong though..I'm settling in nicely and wake up every morning to be amazed by God's wonderful blessings and grace.
Great neighbourhood to live in, friends to ajak out, friendly housemates, seemingly warm church (i use the adjective seemingly because first impressions are tricky).

Am missing home-lah..the holidays seem really really really far away right now.
Am hoping time goes by quicker after my studies catch up with me.

To the friends:Please keep me in touch with your lives...email, sms..anything okay? :)
