yuletide

I have a confession.

I don’t like Christmas.
While the rest of the ‘fa-la-la’ group goes along merrily with goodwill and cheer to all…
yours sincerely is the epitome of gloominess and perpetual upside down smiles
while it’s not that I don’t enjoy carols, parties, food, presents, friends and fun….it’s depressing to know that Christmas is also the most over-commercialized, materialistic, individualistic season of the year.
I sound like a grinch. Sheesh
Don’t mind this post though ( I hope no negative vibes about Christmas affected you by reading this- it is Christmas anyway….WHY ARE YOU ONLINE READING BLOGS?)

Christmas in its very essence is a celebration.
A happy commemoration of pure, boundless, bubbling JOY of the birth of Jesus which was
greeted by the shepherds who left the sheep…proclaimed by the angels, and long-awaited by the faithful.
So may this day be one of peace, marvel and inner solitude filled with gratitude born of a heart which recognizes this awesome show of grace from the One who is Love.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas, Let your heart be light, from now on,our troubles will be out of sightHave yourself a merry little Christmas, Make the Yule-tide gay, from now on, our troubles will be miles away......And have yourself A merry little Christmas now.
