punted

*groans*
Do not read further if you have zero tolerance for silliness...

Three brothers asked their mother to think of a name for their
cattle ranch.
She suggested Focus Ranch, which rather puzzled them until she explained that "'Focus' means where the sun's rays meet."

A:"Knock,Knock."
B:"Who's there?"
A:"Eskimo Christian Italian."
B:"Eskimo Christian Italian who?"
A: "Eskimo Christian Italian no lies."

Two boll weevils grew up in South Carolina. One went to Hollywood and became a famous actor. The other stayed behind in the cotton fields and never amounted to much.
The second one, naturally, became known as the lesser of two weevils.

Becky, a gold miner's daughter, dearly loved Clem, but was too shy to tell him.
One day she learned that Clem was about to marry someone else, so she got her courage up and decided to find Clem, stop the wedding if necessary, and tell him how she felt. She had saddled her horse and was about to leave, when her father appeared and wanted to know why she was in such a hurry.

"Oh, father," cried Becky, "I hope I can find my darling Clem in time!"

What did the little red tractor say to the big green tractor?
Why don't get you get a little closer, John Deere?

Did you see the movie about the cannibal that ate his mother-in-law?
It was named Gladiator.

Did you hear about the guy whose whole left side was cut off? He's all right now.

When women enter middle age, it gives men a pause.

Goats in France are musical because they have french horns.

I wondered why the baseball was getting bigger. Then it hit me.

The dead batteries were given out free of charge.

And just one more:

"A good pun is its own reword."

V's back! V's back! :P
And everyone else is going...

Bleh..have tonnes going on in the gray mass upstairs..sadly however, my language skills just don't match up.

I hate reading specs for IT stuff...every 20 seconds or so everything begins to look good. *sighs*
I need to get either a pc or a notebook for college..which?where?why?
I did however get a 1G flashdrive for Rm88 plus a lifetime warranty :D

Let's see what else can I post here that won't incriminate me..hmm
I'm also currently on this fitness programme. The "Program Kesihatan pinkorangutan" heh.

The major part of which comprises of getting up at 6.30am and slotting in at least a half hour of exercise.Daily.
So far King Chai response of "Hah.Sure tak jadi wan" has been quite accurate.
But I do get up earlier now ok...baby steps baby steps...

Fridays

Work is not as un-fun as my peers make it out to be.
Spent the day tidying or rather 'dejunking' my shelves. Its amazing that one tiny 4 shelf colorbox can generate enough trash for a heavy-duty rubbish bag. And this is after one cleaning earlier this year. What it is I keep I have no idea myself.

For people who've known/put up with me long enough...they'd know that I actually LIKE tidying. Its quite therapeutic : )
I just can't begin to explain the kind of 'oomph', filling bag after bag with junk gives me.
I also clean like some deranged housewife when I'm upset. Wipewipewipescrubsscrubpolishwashclean.
It saves me a bundle, on future anger management classes I tell you : P

To save this from being a totally pointless entry about ME.
I will also blog about cell group :D

Due to foreseeable circumstances CG wasn't held in any of the members' homes this week. Instead we had it in Mint-Hope, which is one of the church ministries which reaches out to cancer patients.
Mint-Hope operates from this refurbished 1930's (?) kinda old shophouse. (If you've been to Kluang, it's one of the many, many old shophouses in the town area, the kind with painted tiles in front, tall ceilings and heavy wooden shutters.)
Didn't bring the camera -_-
But it's been done up quite nicely. A local artist also uses it as a gallery to display his paintings, which upon sale-will have part of the proceeds going to the ministry.

I love old buildings. The daydreamer in me likes to wonder what secrets were whispered between the walls. What happened to the generations who've passed through the doors.

Thinking about it, buildings stay around for a long time...generally speaking lah.
Men build things that are made to outlast them. We record, 'immortalize' events to pass on to those after us,
unconciously aware of eternity. Living lives with the hope that some small part of us trancends time.

Eternity. No more time. No past, present future. Everything would be now.
Imagine that.

Can you?
I can't.

[edit] 'unconciously aware' heh-what an paradox.

“All day I think about it, then at night I say it. Where did I come from, and what am I supposed to be doing? I have no idea. My soul is from elsewhere, I'm sure of that, and I intend to end up there.”

Back home

I love animations:Icon War

Am back from Singapore, or what JonMah labels as 'kiasu-land'.
I like it there okay, of course one of the reasons supporting that, would be that I only go there to bum and sponge off kind relatives lah....
On one of the days there, I dragged a tired Tienli and famished Sarah from one end of orchard rd to the other in search of baked potato (What?! cannot izzit? I'm spoilted wut :P)

But the place wasn't opened. -_- settled for cupcakes and coffee.
Very much a letdown after getting a picture of a piping hot, fat baked potato with tonnes of sour cream and crisp bacon in my mind.Ishness.

Also went to watch X-men with a cousin,Tienli and JonHwa another day. Being human is so un-fun..where's MY mutant powers?!?

Let's see, what else...Went to the Espl. to catch some free performances, binged on Johnny Depp movies and chinese drama reruns! Urm..cycling,more bumming, and generally just relaxing.
Irritated the hell out of my travel companion with my usual 'no-fixed time' mood.Good thing she likes my cousins.Heh.

Ish. Its back to work tommorow.

blogblogblog

Am super tired-which is why I'm here,blogging :)
Tried reviewing the day to see the cause of all this 'exhausted-ness'
So,

7:00am-Wakes up
7.15am-Wakes up again
7.20am-And again
7.30am-Wakes up for real..vaguely aware of a mother standing in the doorway
rattling out
instructions for a lot of things
7.35am-Sits up in bed
7.36am-Stumbled to bathroom-sees a very awake sister doing more project work on
the
computer
7.45am-Drives out to run errands
7.47am-Uses fantastic, enviable 'housewifely' skills at choosing fish, vegetables, and produce
8.00am-Remembers to get newspaper on the way back
8.05am-Reaches home and gets the beginnings of breakfast ready. Stows stuff into
the fridge
8.15am-Looks in mirror. Tries to remedy unpresentable self and tame unruly hair
8.28am-Gets smsed to hurry up and pick up friend for 8.30 breakfast
8.30am-Leaves house
8.38am-Reaches tienli's house
8.39am-Debates on whether to honk or not
8.41am-Honks. Picks up sleepy passenger
8.50am-Locates friend's house on 1st try. :P
9.00am-Breakfast
11.00am-Breakfast ends
11.25am-Gets home
11.26am-Washescardoeslaundryshowerfiddlesaroundwithprojectslunchmorefiddling
5.05pm-Realizes how late I am for youth group
5.40pm-Creeps into youth meeting
6.10pm-Youth meeting ends
6.15pm-Drives to church
6.20pm-Waits for band practice
6.25pm-Waits somemore
6.45pm-Still waiting
7.00pm-Band practice
8.30pm-Dinner! : )

And here I am...blogging.
I blame the repeated 'wakings' for my tiredness...Now if only I could be left alone to sleep until the 4th waking time...saving unneccesary expenditure of precious energy.

But yeah..see my day? Sad right? No life....
You also! You read the whole thing! :P
